Michael Head

Michael A. Head is a family law attorney with Fagan Law Group in Atlanta, Georgia, where he represents clients in all areas of domestic relations law, including divorce, custody, child support, and post-judgment modification and enforcement. Michael practices throughout the Atlanta metropolitan area and is known for his thoughtful and detail-oriented approach to resolving family law matters with professionalism and compassion.

A native of Augusta, Georgia, Michael graduated summa cum laude from the University of Georgia, earning dual degrees in History and Religion. He went on to attend the University of Georgia School of Law on a full scholarship, where he served as a Dean’s Ambassador, led undergraduate law courses as a Teaching Assistant, and received the CALI Excellence Award for the highest grade in his Georgia Family Law course.

After law school, Michael began his practice at a law firm in Marietta, Georgia, where he worked directly under a veteran family law attorney. There, he gained extensive hands-on experience representing clients in a wide range of matters, from uncontested divorces to high-asset, high-conflict cases involving business owners and professional athletes. Michael developed a reputation for precision, thorough preparation, and the ability to communicate complex legal issues clearly and effectively to his clients.

Michael’s passion for family law stems from his belief that every case involves more than just legal issues; it involves people and families navigating one of the most difficult chapters of their lives. He is committed to providing each client with clear guidance, responsive communication, and practical strategies aimed at achieving lasting and forward-looking resolutions.

Outside the office, Michael enjoys spending time with his wife, Annie, as well as hiking, golfing, and training for marathons.
