Attorney Jessica Reece Fagan practices divorce and family law exclusively, helping her clients navigate and resolve the challenging issues related to domestic law, including separation, divorce, custody, alimony, child support, modification, legitimation, and contempt actions.

Whether it is a complex, high-asset divorce, or a straight-forward domestic matter, Jessica prides herself and her team on offering white-glove service to her clients.

In addition to providing zealous advocacy in the courtroom, Jessica reports that she frequently advises clients in resolving matters amicably out of court through private mediation or arbitration.

"I truly care about my clients, and for most clients, out-of-court dispute resolution is really a great option," says Jessica. "It provides the lawyers and clients with an opportunity for creativity that the black and white letter of the law often just cannot. In fact, many of my cases are what I classify as 'negotiated uncontested' because the parties both want the same result, but just need some good counsel to get there."

If that fails, however, Jessica admits she's ready to go to the mat for her clients.

"I love being in court," she reports. "I believe in my clients and support their positions. I have absolutely no problem putting on the gloves if that is what a client needs."

When asked about her typical client, and whether she represents more men or women, Jessica jokes: "Whoever is smart enough to get to me first."

While past clients run the gamut from working professionals and small business owners to professional athletes and politicians, Jessica says there is a commonality in her clientele: "My clients tend to be strategic and goal-driven, but also very much of the 'family first' mindset. Whether they are a stay-at-home parent or someone with a name you might recognize, at the end of the day, my clients tend to be good people who love their family, and want to resolve this very difficult period in their life in a way that is forward-looking."

Thorough | Incredible | Responsive | Knowledgeable | Compassionate

“Unbelievably thorough, absolutely comprehensive knowledge of the law, incredible litigator”

Jessica is the most incredible attorney I have ever seen. … Unbelievably thorough, absolutely comprehensive knowledge of the law, incredible litigator, and all around excellent human being. … I consider Jessica Reece Fagan the most incredible person in her craft. I could not imagine giving her anything but my highest praise and recommendation. Look no further.

“By far the most responsive, knowledgeable, and compassionate law firm I could have chosen to work with for my divorce”

Jessica handled my divorce proceedings as well as walked me through how to self-represent in the protective order process. Considering the contentious nature of these particular legal proceedings, she managed to help me feel comfortable every step of the way. By far the most responsive, knowledgeable, and compassionate law firm I could have chosen to work with for my divorce.   I found Jessica Reece Fagan to be well-liked by the judge, and she kept a good rapport with the opposing counsel which helped keep the process as smooth as reasonably possible. I've since referred her to friends who have needed family law representation and feel very comfortable recommending her to you too.

“The best thing I could have ever done!”

I was forced into a child custody fight with my ex-husband and needed help desperately. The fight was quickly escalating and becoming "unfair" to say the least. I was referred to Jessica Reece Fagan by a friend, and hiring her was the best thing I could have ever done! She stopped the harassment, made the facts clear, and won my case in splendid fashion. If you are going through a divorce or child custody case, Jessica is the attorney you want on your side!

Attorney Elizabeth Raskin obtained her undergraduate degree from Emory University in 2001 and law degree from New York University School of Law in 2004. While in law school, she served as Executive Editor of the Moot Court Board and worked in New York University School of Law's Family Defense Clinic. Here, she provided legal assistance to parents involved in custody disputes and helped clients achieve positive outcomes. She also volunteered tutoring children at schools throughout New York City.

Elizabeth began her legal career with a large law firm in New York City, where she practiced commercial litigation. Once Elizabeth moved to Atlanta, she focused her career on her passion: helping families going through challenging times. She worked at Atlanta Legal Aid, representing clients in all aspects of domestic relations issues, including divorce, child custody, child support, legitimation, and adoption. Her job was to determine the best interests of the child and advocate for those interests in court.

Since entering family law private practice, Elizabeth has successfully represented clients in divorce actions, custody disputes, child support modifications, and family violence actions. She recognizes that each client has different goals and concerns, and focuses her representation to meet her client's individual goals and address their concerns. Elizabeth is thrilled to now work with Fagan Law Group, LLC as Of-Counsel.

In 2019, Elizabeth was selected to the Super Lawyers' Rising Stars list. The Rising Stars list recognizes no more than 2.5 percent of attorneys in each state.
